Is Your Septic Tank Full?
When we get a call to schedule a septic pumping we start by asking if it is a routine maintenance pump or if they are having any issues. You wouldn’t believe how many times the answer is … 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡.
Your septic tank is always full at what is considered normal operating level. If we pump it today, it will be full again in a matter of weeks. The system is designed to for the effluent to exit the tank to your drainfield at the same rate, or faster, than it enters the tank. This ensures that your tank remains at normal operating level and doesn’t back up into your home.
If you remove the lid to your tank and it looks like this, it’s not just time to pump your tank because it’s full. There is an issue causing the effluent not to exit your tank at all, or at a fast enough rate.
Give us a call today to schedule your routine maintenance pump and inspection so that your tank remains at normal operating level and doesn’t cause you any costly issues in the future!
