FAQ’s
Our FAQs provide quick and helpful answers to common questions about septic system maintenance, services, and care. Whether you’re a new homeowner or need guidance on routine upkeep, our FAQ section is here to keep you informed and confident in managing your system.
Can we pump from the cleanout?
No, you shouldn’t pump a septic tank from the cleanout. It won’t fully remove sludge, can clog or damage pipes, and may expose you to hazardous gases. Always pump through the tank’s access lid for proper cleaning.
Do you have to dig up my yard?
Yes, if your septic tank lids are buried, you’ll need to dig to access them for pumping. Some tanks have risers that bring the lids to ground level, making access easier. If you don’t have risers, installing them can save effort for future maintenance.
How often do you pump a septic tank?
Septic tanks should typically be pumped every 3 to 5 years, depending on household size, water usage, and tank size. Larger households or heavy water use may require more frequent pumping. Regular maintenance helps prevent backups and system failure.
Is my septic tank full?
How much do you charge to pump a septic tank?
We charge .52 cents per Gallon to pump.
